ARCHITECTURAL
MOVES HEIMAT
- HEIMWEH Artists impressions on architecture. The object is a two dimensional façade. However, the presentation is a three-dimensional sculpture. It is the entrance, as well as the exit of the exhibition. The flat front shows the word 'HEIMAT', (home). The backside is an impression of a stage set. Leaving the exhibition the public reads the word "HEIMWEH', (home-sick). The German language is chosen because the words are very similar, but very opposite in emotion. |
