BACK TO THE FUTURE

The theme of the manifestation was mining.
This northern part of France has rich history in mining.
In the immediate vicinity of Vieux Conde 12 international
artists made a site-specific work of art with the theme
as a starting point.
My contribution was the installation "Back to the Future".
As the title suggests it is a reference to the future
geological cross-section of the earth.
Natural materials such as coal and marble alternate
with plastic bottles, computer-prints or tin-cans.
