AT YOUR SERVICE performance, September 12th. 1993 Arnhem Open Arnhem, various cultural institutes, the Netherlands At the start of the new cultural season, the cultural institutes of Arnhem present their programmes to the public. A free touring car drove by all these institutes, where the public/passengers could get on, or off the bus. The organisation invited me for an activity during this bus tour. Dressed up as a porter I was at the service of the passengers, explaning about the various institutes, answering questions and handing out souvenirs and sweets while elevator music was playing. When the passengers left the bus, they could have their photograph taken with their guide. After the manifestation the photographs could be picked up for free as a souvenir. photography: Gerrit Bakker
