Based on a centuries old ritual, a number of artists made small artworks to hang in or mount on the trees in a park. My artwork was a word-object. The word 'boom' means 'tree' in Dutch. In English the word is a comic book translation for an explosion or crack. Under the exclamation mark in the middle of the explosion I mounted a tiny red lamp (led). Fed by a battery the lamp flashes. The object is buckled around the tree with a belt.
