TIME
Photographic prints, imitation woodfoil and light various sizes

This quiet village-street is situated around the church.
On the four sides of the churchtower the clocks shows real time. In this project I involved the occupants of the street. The street has 10 lampposts. I transformed them into cosy shaded-lamps. The posts are covered with imitation wood foil. On the top I placed lampshades.
The images on the lampshades are pictures of the people living in the street. I photographed them on different moments on the same day. The earliest picture is the first, the latest picture of the day is the last lampshade.
On every picture a person is doing a daily routine. During the day the lampshades looked like billboard photographs. In the evening when the lamps were shining the pictures looked more clear and cosy.
The street became warm and social.
The occupants regretted it very much that it was a temporary installation.
